This Adult Acting and Scene Study Class, is very unique, and is taught by Chris Cardona.
Chris has over 38 years of "working acting" experience in all mediums. As a consistently working actor, he understands exactly what his students need to book jobs in Film, Television, Stage and Commercials. Chris will coach all students to hone their acting skills to the next level, learn to shape their performances, while keeping their work completely honest. In addition, Chris will be sharing important bits of acting craft, and giving specific direction to each student. This class will have a huge emphasis on acting technique, script analysis, and its application to scene work. Every student will work each and every class, and perform either a scene or monologue. The class environment is an incredibly safe one, where actors learn that it is okay to fail, receive an adjustment, and correct their performance. The thing that Chris is most proud of, is the fact that each and every student is rooting for one another to succeed. All egos are checked at the door, and each student both learn and improves each class. To be an actor you must be very brave, constantly take chances on stage and or set, all the while learning to make interesting, honest, and real, choices. This is what books you the job.
In this class, students will: Refine their acting technique and elevate their craft. Master script analysis and apply it directly to scene work. Perform every class, working on either a scene or monologue. Receive individual coaching and adjustments from Chris, ensuring growth and authenticity in every performance. With a lifelong passion for theatre and extensive professional experience, Kristin understands exactly what it takes to book roles in film, television, stage, and commercials.
